On Tuesday, October 13 the Malone Huskies scored the first goal just 3:52 into the first half when Steven Marshall finished off a play set up by Patrick Bilow.

With 10:05 left in regulation time, Cooper Law scored off a penalty goal to put the Huskies up 2-0 and that score stood to end the game.

Jayson Spaulding and Ethan Dumas shared goal tending duties for the Huskies but did not have any saves to tally. Zach Smith posted nine saves for the Shamrocks.

SRCS Girls Soccer

FA 3, Salmon River 1

The Lady Shamrocks hosted the Malone Huskies on Friday, October 16, in its last home game of the season. The Lady Huskies worked their way to a 2-0 halftime lead and held the Shamrocks off to leave town with a 3-1 win.

Brooke Monette converted off a pass from Abigail Collins and 59 seconds later Gabrielle Collins struck for an unassisted goal in the first half.

Haley Lewis struck midway in the second half to up the Huskie score 3-0. Senior Mallory Johnson answered back less than a minute later when she finished off a play by Wraven Sunday to give the Shamrocks their only goal.

Victoria Hanna made two saves for the Huskies while Lauren Martin tallied seven saves for the Shamrocks.

SRCS Swimming

E-K 50, Salmon River 44

While the Shamrocks won many of the events the Lady Cougars took home the 50-44 win.

Katrina Oakes led the Shamrocks with a pair of first place finishes in the 200 Freestyle with a time of 2:32.92 and the 500 Freestyle in 7:02.73. Caroline Russell took the lead spot in the 200 IM in 2:47.39 while Kariwiiostha Dupree took first in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 1:27.38.

The relay team of Oakes, Russell, Destiny Boardway and Alexis Terrance took first place in the 200 Freestyle relay as well as the 400 Freestyle relay with times of 2:08.37 and 4:44.97 respectively.
