After their semi-final win Akwesasne Green teams parents made a victory tunnel the players went through as they left the field. However they had only minutes to savor their victory because the sun was starting to set and the championship match was already delayed.

The Akwesasne Eagles Flag Football hosted at tournament over the weekend at Generations Park. Several local teams came out for the last home game of the season for the three Eagles teams, which are made up of Kindergarten through grade two boys and girls. Akwesasne Green were the tournament champions.
