A Voice from the Eastern Door
Artist, Natasha Smoke-Santiago designed and created the ABEA award. Smoke-Santiago made a cast of a turtle shell and painted each shell a different color. These colors will remain the same for each distinct ABEA award.

Justin and Laura Tarbell, Heart to Heart Fitness and Bear's Den were nominated for ABEA awards.
Emcees for the ABEA Gala were Buck Cook and Chris Thompson who thoroughly entertained the ABEA guests throughout the evening.
Business Recognition award winner - Truck Stop #9, pictured here is Phillip and Mary Gray, Alex Burns and Burn's matriarch Aunt Annie Dyer. Alex Burns gave a brief history of his father, Peter Burns starting the business with just one truck, delivering fuel himself and how hard his father worked for his family.
