Outside the Box Holds Soft Grand Opening

On Saturday, October 3rd, Outside the Box held a soft grand opening at their location in the former Aladdin's Castle in the St. Lawrence Centre in Massena, NY. The night included an Italian buffet and a group psychic reading, as well as one on one readings, from Psychic Medium and Spiritual Counselor Belle Salisbury.

Outside the Box is a formal family venue that is an umbrella company of On the Edge Designs, Inc. LLC, along with TUX, which is also located in the St. Lawrence Centre.

Co-owner of Outside the Box Rebecca Thompson explained, "We're limited in choices for places to have parties with the upcoming cold weather."

Outside the Box is open for public or private parties ranging from princess tea parties, teen dances for the kids, to open mic nights. Outside the Box wants to bring family entertainment to the North Country. They are a formal venue with linens, backdrops and lighting for a formal occasion for your special event.

We have a lot of plans for Outside the Box. "I want to do events for the kids. Maybe every other Saturday have pre-teen and teen dances and video games, princess tea parties and/or father daughter dances." Suggestions are definitely encouraged.

"Whatever we come up with we can have here, maybe dinner and a mystery, masquerade parties, black tie events and/or theme parties."

Outside the Box is also looking for theatrical people who can play princesses or superheroes, any characters for themed parties. "People can come in and audition and we will recommend you to our clients," said Rebecca.

An introductory rate of 4 hours for $300 is going on now, which will be good until January 1, 2016. This includes all the décor. "We take care of the décor and clean up the mess," said Rebecca. The only thing not included is food, which must come from an insured restaurant.
