AHA Meeting Thursday, October 8th at 7:00pm

The Akwesasne Housing Authority is considering applying for a grant for a community scale solar project that will serve their existing Sunrise Acres housing facilities. The Akwesasne Housing Authority is holding a meeting to obtain the views of residents and other tribal members on community development and housing needs and how they are addressed by this potential project. The meeting will be held at the AHA Training Center located at 378 State Route 37, Suite B, Hogansburg, NY at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 8, 2015. Drawings of the potential solar facilities, including alternative locations, and related materials will be available at the meeting and will be posted at the AHA offices. In addition, residents and members may review and submit comments on this potential solar project and other community development opportunities as well as AHA’s and/or St. Regis Mohawk’s performance under any active community development block grant.
