Crossing the finish line in first place overall was Louis King.
It was a beautiful morning to get some exercise for a great cause.
Tyler Hayes came in second overall in the Heart to Heart 9K.
Third place overall was Jeremy Alvarez.
Rachelle Garrow-Hayes came in first place women's division and fourth place overall.
Crossing the finish line in 2nd place women's division and fifth place overall was Summer Brownell.
Jeni Backus was third in the women's division and sixth place overall in the heart to Heart 9K.
Laura Tarbell was greeted at the finish line by her daughter Abigail.
It was a beautiful morning again for the second annual Heart to Heart 9K Walk/Run which was held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Heart to Heart. Over 100 people participated this year and it was a complete success. DJ Neil Lauzon kept the runners pumped before the race, and at 9am sharp, with runners in the front and walkers in the back, the group took off for the 9K. Runners and walkers did a big circle starting at Heart to Heart travelling down Frogtown Road to the Helena/North Rd, west on Rt. 37, and back down Frogtown Rd to Heart to Heart.
3C Race Productions did the time keeping for the race again this year. You can visit their website, http://www.3craceproductions.com, and see all the results of the run.
All participants got a free race bag and a one-month membership to Heart to Heart. They also ran for a good cause, as all the monies raised go to the Akwesasne Boys & Girls Club. Top finishers received special medals, as well as cash prizes for 1st, 2nd and 3rd for male and female divisions.
