Being involved in your community is important to individuals of every age including those who live in long term care. For the past five years, the Activity Staff at Tsiionkwanonhso:te have supported the Alzheimer Society’s Annual Fundraiser ‘Coffee Break’ with 50/50 raffles, bake sales, and having families donate their loose change during the month of September.
On September 18, 2015 at 1:30 pm, the tradition will continue as the Annual “Coffee Break” will be held once again at Tsiionkwanonhso:te. Community and family members are invited to join residents and staff in the fundraising efforts to help support the Alzheimer Society.
During the fundraiser, attendees can play Pie Bingo to take a chance at winning a delicious pie by purchasing Bingo cards for only one dollar per card! All funds raised will go to the local Alzheimer Society to help people with Alzheimer’s disease and their families.
