Description of Position: Responsible for the oversight and review of Alcoa’s remedial activities on the Grasse and St. Lawrence Rivers. These include review of technical documents, attendance at meetings with USEPA, ALCOA, Tribal Council, consultants and community members. Also oversee remedial activities at the former Reynolds Metals (now Alcoa West) site. Direct our technical consultant.
Qualifications: The candidate must have a background in environmental studies or a related science field. Bachelor’s degree in science, engineering or environmental studies is preferred. Must have good verbal and written communication skills. They must be familiar with the Akwesasne Mohawk community. Subject to the Fleet policy.

ELIGIBILITY LIST: A list of qualified candidates is created from interviews that may be used to appoint individuals to similar positions within the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe for a period of six months.
