Akwesasne Storm Bantam Win Provincial "B" Championships

Akwesasne Storm Bantam became Provincial "B" Champions in Whitby, Ontario during the Ontario Lacrosse Festival. The Bantams participated in the "B" bracket, entering in the tournament as being ranked #1 in the Division. The team went undefeated for the weekend, celebrating with Gold Medals in the end, as their reward for all their hard work and training throughout the season.

A summary of the Round Robin play:

Friday, July 31st Game 1: Akwesasne defeating Newmarket Team 1, on a score of 15-6.

Friday July 31 Game 2: Akwesasne defeating Caledon 5-4.

Saturday August 1st Game 3: Akwesasne defeating Oakville Team 2, on a score of 9-2.

Quarterfinal Game on Saturday August 1st: Akwesasne defeating Barrie Team 1, on a score of 7-3.

Semifinal Game on Sunday morning, August 2nd: Akwesasne defeating West Durham, on a score of 8-3.

Championship Gold Medal Game of the Tournament: Akwesasne defeating Sarnia 12-3.
