IAKHIHSOHTHA FUND RAISER NIÁ: WEN

Thank you to the community members and visitors who cooled off at the Ironworkers' Festival by stopping by and purchasing a lemonade, strawberry drink, or water. Special thanks is extended to Benjamin Herne and the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino, Bill Sears @ Urban Style Thrift Shop, Mike and Lisa Swamp @ Mohawk Plumbing, Tim Rourke, and Local 440 for the incredible donations to the Ironworkers' Survival basket raffle. Items donated were: 3 short munk gloves, 3 long munk gloves, leather suspenders, erection wrench holder, bolt bag, 9" pliers, end cutter, linesman tool holder, helmet liner, 7/8" spud wrench, 3/4" spud wrench, small bull pin, large bull pin, wire reel, full brim American Bridge hard hat, and hat suspension. Tim donated the belt, bucket liner, and safety glasses. The lucky Ironworker winner was Buzzard Jacobs from Kahnawa:ke!

The generosity and support from everyone totaled $760.00 for the day! On behalf of the Totas at Iakhihsohtha and their families, thank you to everyone and anyone who was included in making our fund raiser successful.
