Jesse Scored the Perfect 100!

By Mrs. Hoag, High School Chemistry Instructor

Salmon River High School is pleased to announce the student who scored 100 on the New York State Chemistry Regents Exam. Congratulation to Jesse McDonald! I believe that your perfect score is the first for this challenging assessment in the last ten years of Salmon River Central School District!

Jesse has always been the Polaris in his Honors Chemistry class. I have long been impressed by his intelligence. I often look for his bright eyes that can tell me how deep I should go during our learning time. He is an insightful student who can make connections between the content of math and chemistry easily.

Jesse is very gifted. He learns everything very quick. He focuses well in class. He only needs less than half of the time to complete a complicated task that requires his classmates much longer. He always seeks to understand what he knows and the way things work. He obviously possesses a great quality of "brightness" and "sharpness" to his thinking.

He is able to think at such a high order that he often comes up with a unique explanation for any observation in Chemistry. His opinions/answers are right to the point with precise choice of words that express the accuracy of his thinking.

His class performance for Chemistry is excellent, and his score is very remarkable!

Great job, Jesse! I am very proud of you!
