Saints Win Freedom School Softball Tourney

The two-day annual tournament held at Buck Whites Field on St. Regis Road turned into one day because of a lack of teams, but when it was over, the Saints won the championship, and the six teams who entered got in a day of hits, great catches, lots of laughs (intentional and unintentional) and fun all the way around.

The teams were from the Akwesasne Co-Ed league, which took Sunday off to play in this tournament. League play starts up again next Sunday with the schedule below.

On July 4th and 5th the Annual Louis King Memorial Tournament will be held at the American Legion and again the Co-ed league takes the night off.
