Kanatsiohareke Strawberry Festival - June 27th to June 28th

The Kanatsiohareke Strawberry Festival is a family-friendly celebration of Mohawk culture that is shared with friends, relatives, volunteers and everybody in the local Mohawk River Valley community and beyond! All are welcome!

The event includes Iroquois (Haudenosaunee) storytelling, dancing, music and culture as well as contemporary music. Vendors will be selling Native American art works and crafts. Food will include some traditional Mohawk dishes as well as contemporary foods.

There is a cost for admission.

Official hours are 10-6 each day but we often start a little late on Saturday and usually wrap up a little early on Sunday.

All events at Kanatsiohareke are drug and alcohol free. No animals except service dogs for safety/liability reasons please.

The Kanatsiohareke (Gah-Nah-Joe-Hah- Lay- Gay) Mohawk Community is located at 4934 State Highway 5, Fonda, NY.
