A Voice from the Eastern Door
On Wednesday, May 3rd, Salmon River High School celebrated its students during the annual High School Awards Ceremony.
To start things off, Clair Russell, Senior Class President, led the audience in the Pledge of Allegiance. Principal Mike Warden welcomed parents and students to the event and congratulated students on their achievements. Guidance Counselors Andrea Martin and Rachelle Hayes were on hand to present awards to the students. Salmon River Alumnus and local radio celebrity, Sandy Cook, graciously donated his time to emcee for the night.
The first award of the night was to recognize and honor Valedictorian, Breana Griffin and Salutatorian, Ciera Jock with a plaque to commemorate their achievement as class leaders.
