A finished whimsy bird with raised beadwork completed during beading class at the Akwesasne Museum with Niio Perkins.
Another successful community workshop at the Akwesasne Cultural Museum took place on May 12, 14, 19 and 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Local artist Niio Perkins led a raised beading class where twelve participants made whimsy beaded birds.
