Ring Announcer Catfish Ben interviews Sheldon Cole who fought in the Lance "The Destroyer" Sawyer Memorial Fight, a fight dedicated to Lance who recently passed.
Ariwiio "The Savage" Swamp, Akwesasne, is the Light Weight Champion.
Bowdrie Rene out of Six Nations, ON won the Bantam Weight title fight.
Rob Wagner out of the Spirit FC Training Center is the Middle Weight Champion.
On Friday, May 15, 2015, the St. Lawrence Centre Arena was the place to see some great amateur MMA fights at Spirit FC 7. There were ten fights scheduled with four title fights and a special Lance Sawyer Memorial fight. Fighters came from Schenectady, Gouverneur, Malone, Massena, Akwesasne and more. But the event was much more than just fighting.
The Ieweras Gray Foundation had a table set up and they sold 50/50 tickets to benefit Kanatsiohareke. James Gray said, "Before she passed, my daughter talked about helping other families that were in the same situation as we were. She wanted to help families in general. We have already gave funds to two families and 100% of the funds go to the families."
Spirit FC also sold t-shirts to raise money for the Lance Sawyer family and dedicated a fight to him, the Lance Sawyer Memorial Fight.
