Scott and Ryan Hamlin remember the start of Speedway Plaza and running around the cooler for fun, now they work with their father, Rick in running the Plaza.
The 20th Anniversary at Speedway Plaza drew large crowds throughout the day. The Bounce Houses were very popular for the little people crowd.
The Salmon River Central Baseball team set up a dunking booth to raise money for their team.

Speedway Plaza held their 20th Anniversary by hosting a Customer Appreciation Day on May 9, 2015. Speedway Plaza includes Subway, Atomic Pizza, Verizon, DIRECTV, the Convenience Store, Speedy Lube, U-Hall, Smokie's Tobacco, Speedy Tire, and Celebration Liquor. Speedway held a variety of specials throughout the day with reduced prices on milk, their car wash for a dollar, an oil change for 15.00 and .15 cents off a gallon of gas. For the kids, Belly Buttons the clown painted face and made balloon animals and they had several Bounce Houses to play in along with free popcorn, cotton candy and snow cones. For adults you could buy a cool wine slushy, (including non-alcohol slushies). The Plaza was busy throughout the day and lines for the car wash and oil change went quickly as they were averaging six minutes per oil change.
