Starting Annual Salary: ($47,638.30 – $84,374.75)

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

To perform the public duties associated with maintaining and fostering community peace and social order within the framework of Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service Philosophy. To investigate criminal non-criminal and traffic occurrences within the territory of Akwesasne of which the AMPS has jurisdiction of.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or Equivalent; at least 19 years of age; must a have Canadian Social Insurance Number (SIN Card) and must submit a completed detailed application package.

Applicants must have proof of native status a birth certificate along with valid motor vehicle license with drivers’ abstract as required in the application package. Standard First Aid and CPR are considered an asset,

A Clear Criminal Records Check is Mandatory along with a completed application.
