Description of Position: Responsible for inspecting and monitoring for compliance of all of the Tribe’s Environmental Laws and regulations. Ensuring compliance with tribal laws regulating the transportation, storage and disposal of solid wastes, hazardous waste and the illegal disposal of regulated medical waste.

Qualifications: The position requires a Bachelor of Science in Science, Engineering or Environmental Technology preferred. Minimum 2-year Science, Engineering or Environmental Technology Degree with relevant work experience. Be physically and mentally able to wear chemical protective equipment (must pass a physical). ELIGIBILITY LIST: A list of qualified candidates is created from interviews that may be used to appoint individuals to similar positions within the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe for a period of six months.
