A Message from MCA Community Health Program

Dear Parent:

We at Mohawk Council of Akwesasne Community Health are committed to ensuring the health and safety of all of our community members. One part of this is ensuring that all of our Ahkwesahsne Mohawk Board of Education school children are protected from Vaccine-Preventable Diseases by keeping them up to date on their vaccinations.

We have sent home several letters recently, encouraging you to bring your child(ren) in to update their immunization records with us, along with dates and time of our immunization clinics.

This letter serves to inform you that the deadline for updating your child’s immunizations with Community Health is Thursday, April 30th.

In accordance with Mohawk Council Resolution #176, MCA does enforce the Immunization of School Pupils Act which states that the child may be suspended from school until such time as their immunization records are up to date with MCA Community Health.

If your child does require immunizations, we offer immunization every Wednesday & Friday from 8:30am - 3:30pm and also by appointment, if required.
