Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Manage 74 units with move-in, move-out
· Submits reports for subsidized rental units to appropriate agency
· Record payments and notify tenants in arrears
· Supervisory duties over Maintenance Department including training,
performance appraisal, discipline
· Scheduling repairs, work orders, purchase orders, solicit bids when
necessary, ensure purchases fall within budgets
· Work with Management on planning, develop annual work plans,
budgets, identify renovations/major repairs, preventative maintenance
· Possess skills and abilities to resolve tenant grievance, conflict and
make recommendation and/or notices of violation to resolve issues
and maintain confidentiality
· Attends and participates in training
Qualification and Skill Requirements:
· Incumbent must have a valid driver’s license and vehicle to use for
work purposes.
· Positions require a background check to be used solely for
employment related purposes.
· Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
· Must have aptitude and skills in computer programs, including but
not limited to Microsoft Office.
· Knowledge or training in the basics of building repairs and maintenance.
· Financial background will be considered an asset in dealing with budgets.
· Incumbent must possess strong communication skills (written and verbal),
must be able to multi-task and prioritize and present a positive, caring
and respectful attitude.
· Incumbent will be required to become trained and certified within 6 months
under US Department of HUD or USDA Rural Development.
