It's been a long and extremely cold winter, and its effects can be seen everywhere. Kanatakon School Principal Alice King thought it was a perfect time to host a Health Fair to get us through the last leg of our journey to spring. On hand were several departments from the St. Regis Mohawk Tribe and Mohawk Council of Akwesasne. The students all took their turn listening to health care specialists, workers and providers as they shared vital information to keep you healthy and in tip top shape. The health fair was open to parents from Noon to 1pm with many stopping in to take advantage of the wide array of displays and informational booklets, pamphlets and freebies.
