Tewaaraton Trophy co-winner Lyle Thompson, of the Onondaga Nation and a LaFayette High School graduate, was the No. 1 overall pick in the Major League Lacrosse collegiate draft on Friday night, January 23, 2015, in Baltimore, MD. Thompson, of the University of Albany, was selected by the Florida Launch with the top pick.
