Mohawk School Band Plays for Totas

Late last year the residents of Iakhihsohtha Home for the Elderly got some Christmas cheer from some students. The St. Regis Mohawk School Band and Choir performed at the Home in Tsi Snaihne just before Christmas.

Both groups performed traditional holiday songs and were well accepted by the Elders, guests and staff. Music teacher Justin Hahn said the band and choir were very professional and enthusiastic about performing. After the Iakhihsohtha gig, the school moved to the St. Regis Mohawk Seniors Center in Hogansburg where they also entertained the Seniors and put on a beautiful performance.
