The action and goals came at a rapid clip as the North Franklin Mites program participated in a "Mites Day" event in Norwood-Norfolk. The other teams were host NN, Canton and Ogdensburg.
The rink at the Zappa arena was divided into two, and the teams played one 12 minute running time period. There were no face-offs after goals, penalty shots for every infraction, and although only 8 and 9 years old, the players finessed for their goals, fistpumped, and high fived each other for a job well done.
