A message from Rosemary Bonaparte

I was involved in planning a retreat to be held in Ogdensburg at Wadhams Hall in October.  That didn’t come together because a few speakers couldn’t make it.  We now have another time set for January 16, 17 and 18, 2015 and it is going to be a very good weekend.  We call this retreat “Honoring St. Kateri”  and we have Sister Kateri coming. She will give us a good update on the things that are happening in the world about St. Kateri.  We will have Darren Bonaparte giving a history presentation and Dorothy Lazore will be talking about more recent Mohawk events in our Church.  We have a few other events we are working on.  The Wadhams Hall Chapel is a beautiful place and their director will supply the meals for us.  There will be two rates, one for overnight accommodations and another for commuters.

We have started our fund-raising and the first event will be a Turkey Dinner on Thanksgiving Day.  We will have posters up for more information and we will need some help and hope we can get some volunteers.  If you can help or would like more information call me at 613-575-2799.
