A Voice from the Eastern Door

On Friday, November 14th, the 10th Annual Christmas Enchantment festivities, held at the Snye Recreation Center, was open exclusively to students beginning at 9am. It was a busy morning as busloads of kids from Headstart to Grade 4 had their chance to marvel at the glow of Christmas lights. Students from Kana:takon, Snye, AMS, Mohawk School and the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe's Headstart program were all in attendance. Along with getting their picture taken with Santa Claus, students were treated to a "Health Snack Bag" for the ride home courtesy of the Snye Recreation Committee. A big Nia:wen kowa to all those that made this event possible!
