SRMS Student Achievement Assembly for October

On Friday, November 7th, the St. Regis Mohawk School had its Student Achievement Assembly for the month of October to recognize students that showed excellence with the trait "Acceptance."

A few students from each grade were chosen by classroom and special area teachers on not only acceptance, but also exemplifying the schools motto: Sken:nen Ratiha:wi. Principal Thomas emceed the event.

To promote college and higher education, the St. Regis Mohawk School features a college each month. Harvard University is the feature college for November and National Elementary Honor Society students talked a little about the university at the assembly.

Students of the Month not only get a certificate, they also get early dismissal from buses, ice cream, swimming, and pizza and a movie. Congratulations students on a job well done!
