A Voice from the Eastern Door

Teachers Trivia Night at Cedarview

The teachers nailed the education questions but were stumped by the Justin Timberlake questions. On Thursday October 9, the Salmon River Central School Teachers Association held a Trivia contest with lots of laughs.

The majority of the questions dealt with local school board practices, government, history of education, and topics suited for a school get-together. But late in the program the quizzes were about entertainment and those were tougher to answer.

The Master of Ceremonies was Loren Fontaine - New York State Union of Teachers, and he provided a lively event.

The first place winners were Dan Girard and Terri Swamp who went under the name "Awesome". Second place was the team of Michelle Oakes and John Aldrich who were known as "Da Shizzle," and Third place was "Ski Patrol" who were Sheila Mannix and Ron Jeror.

This contest marked the last function of the year at Cedarview as they closed their doors for the season the following day.
