CORRECTION

“Canoe Journeys,” an initiative of Akwesasne Child and Family Service’s Community Support and Traditional Support programs, was the organizer of the Honoring Women ceremony in the article titled “Kawennota’kie Canoe Journey Honor Women in Akwesasne” that ran in the October 9th edition of Indian Time.

Also in the October 9th edition of Indian Time, the canoe journey at the Akwesasne Culture Center’s canoe exhibit opening was put on by Akwesasne Mohawk Police Service’s Kanikonhri:io i:wa ne Ona’:ke “Good Minds in the Canoe,” Canoe and Kayak Club, in collaboration with the Akwesasne Child and Family Service’s Community Support and Traditional Support program’s Kawennota’kie Canoe Journey program.
