Drone Video Shows Construction Progress on Apple's New Campus 2

Video shot by a drone gives a bird's-eye view of the progress of construction on Apple's new Campus 2 in Cupertino, California. The futuristic-looking campus, which some say resembles a "spaceship," is being built on a 175-acre site about one mile east of the company's current headquarters. YouTube user jmcminn uploaded the eight-minute video last week and said it was shot with a GoPro-equipped DJI Phantom 2 drone.

The Campus 2 construction site is fenced off, so it's difficult for the public to get ground-level views of what's going on. Apple has said construction is expected to be completed in 2016. Campus 2 will be home to more than 12,000 employees.
