CASE AIDE

SALARY LEVEL: HS 10 - $35,420.66 - $36,837.48

Summary of Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the Clinical Coordinator and the Case Supervisor, the incumbent is responsible for providing supervision in a 24-hour operation facility; and is responsible for client monitoring within the program plan.

Qualifications:

Two Year Social Service Worker Diploma or a related social service discipline with one year of documented work experience working with adolescents.

Incumbent must have the ability to work in crisis situations and communicate both orally and in writing with the adolescents; must understand and adhere to strict principles of confidentiality and be able to work as a member of a team. The incumbent should have knowledge of adolescent development; knowledge of basic adolescent service concepts; skills in addressing adolescent dysfunctional behaviors, addressing crisis situations, responding to adolescent concerns, and motivating adolescents to change. Incumbent must be willing/able to work weekends and holidays in accordance with the scheduling needs of the facility and to be able to work shift work.

Must have a valid driver license and be willing to use personal vehicle during course of employment. Ability to speak the Mohawk Language is considered an asset.
