NEW CBSA OFFICERS STATIONED AT CORNWALL PORT

The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Community Advocate is notifying community members that there have recently been four new Border Services Officers (BSO) assigned to the CBSA Port of Entry in Cornwall. The BSO›s have concluded their mentoring process and are now manning the booths unassisted.  These new BSO›s are fresh out of the academy and their line of questioning could be intrusive due to their lack of knowledge of Akwesasne and the territory, and general inexperience at the Cornwall port.

If you encounter one of the new BSO’s, it is recommended that their questions be answered with short direct responses.
