CKON Introduces the Mid-Week Country Gold Show

Akwesasne – CKON is getting ready to launch a new program segment, the Mid-Week Country Gold Show. Listeners have expressed interest in hearing more of the older country music and CKON has decided to introduce a Golden Age of country music program. This show will focus on many of the pioneers of Honky Tonk and Country Music with some early Rockabilly thrown in. These early musicians paved the way for today’s country musicians and we are proud to present their musical to today’s country music listeners. Take a listen and judge for yourself if the Golden Age of Country Music isn’t what country music is all about. The show will air on Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. with hosted by Steven Oakes.
