High School Sports Star Alanna Herne

Alanna Herne attends Tonawanda High School and is a senior there. She is a three sport varsity athlete playing soccer, basketball, and softball. She also plays travel hockey and lacrosse. She is the daughter of Scott and Sonja Herne and granddaughter of Robert Lazore and Rita Swamp.

Alanna has been featured in the local newspaper, Tonawanda News, for her extraordinary athletic abilities. She is the point guard of the basketball team and she was named 2013-14 News Player of the Year for girl's basketball. She led the Lady Warriors to the first sectional title in school history this season.

Tonawanda News called Alanna, "One of a kind. That extraordinarily rare breed who excels in every sport she plays." Lacrosse is Alanna's favorite sport and she was accepted to play for Buffalo Lacrosse Academy.
