FULL – TIME TERM POSITION / UNDERFILL CONSIDERED HOME CARE / HOME SUPPORT DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH
Salary Range: MG 08 - $56,915.84 -$59,192.47
POSITION SUMMARY:
Under the direct supervision of the Director of Health, the incumbent is responsible for managing the human, financial, physical and information assets of the Home Care / Home Support Program within agreements and policies of Council.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a Bachelors Degree in Health or Public Administration, Social Sciences, or Business including at least 3 years of accounting, with four years of managerial experience in a Health and Social setting. Or Six years management work experience in a position requiring the supervision of registered or certified personnel, contract management, financial administration and reporting, policy development and analysis, and statistical analysis in a Health or Social setting.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to; Preparing and submitting to the Director of Health the HC-HS Annual Operating Plan including Goals, Objectives, Tasks, Performance Indicators and Budgets detailed for personnel, equipment, training, consultants and travel.
The incumbent will also prepare reports, business cases and budget modifications as necessary, read, comprehend, implements and ensures accountability to all requirements of the contribution and or service agreements between Council, Health Canada, FNIH, Indian & Northern Affairs Canada, the Champlain Local Health Integration Network and the Ontario Community Care Access Centre including but not limited to service delivery/planning, implementing, reporting, staff licensing/certification; equipment inventory, maintenance and documentation.
