By: Rachelle Garrow-Hayes

The Salmon River boy's varsity lacrosse team ended their last NAC regular season game the same way they've ended the last fifteen games, as the winning team.

The Shamrocks played their senior game against Colton-Pierrepont last Sunday afternoon to a 19-5 victory. This win earns the Shamrocks the top seed spot in the Section 10 Class C playoffs with an undefeated record of 14-0 in the league and 15-0 overall.

Salmon River wasted no time getting on the scoreboard and building their lead as they went ahead 8-0 and led 10-2 by the end of the first. Senior Kason Tarbell started off the scoring on the opening faceoff with an unassisted goal. He ended his last regular season home game with four goals and three assists. The Colts held the Shamrocks to only three goals in the second to finish the half, 13-2.

In the third period the scoring was pretty even with the Colts scoring three and the Shamrocks four to bring the score 17-5. Salmon scored two goals in the fourth to end the game with the 19-5 win.
