A Voice from the Eastern Door

From Medical Challenge to Beautiful Results

Tara Tarbell has faced adversity. When staring at a very uncertain future and the biggest medical challenge a person can face in a lifetime, she took this experience and its myriad of emotions and chose to walk the path of being positive. She refocused her attitude from feeling bad and upset and redirected her attention to the positive things in her life. Soon after, she realized she had the time and focus to finally develop the skin care line she had been thinking of since her teen years. Ever since junior high, Tarbell was faced with acne prone skin, and in junior high, pimples are a personal crisis in itself. You go from one highly marketed super miracle cream, lotion, wash, to another, only to wake up to another pimple on the morning of your junior high prom. With life experiences filled with challenges big and small, Tarbell found it was the perfect time to learn and research her lifelong dream to develop a skin care line. She named her skin care line "Niawen", to honor and give thanks to the Creator for her challenge and the strength and insight to creating her new skin line.

"Without having to go through this chapter in my life, I would have never taken the time to sit, heal, and think and search within the deepest layers of my soul. I would have never been so inspired to find the "I" in "me".

The "Niawen" skin care line was developed over two years of research and trials. All products are a unique combination of plant and mineral derived bio-effective ingredients including multi-functional antioxidants, phyto-nutrients, clinically tested peptides, healing botanicals, and herbs. The "Niawen" skin care line was developed for various skin types taking into consideration your age, hormonal balance, and seasonal activity. Unlike other skin and hair products, "Niawen" creator Tarbell actually encourages you to change products within this line over time as your skin becomes accustomed to a product. Tarbell mentioned what few, if any companies, actually recognizes what many women have always known - that a product loses its effectiveness over extended use and changing products actually boosts its effectiveness. This line was designed with that in mind, you start with certain products after a free consultation and change products over time.

As a licensed cosmetician, esthetician, para-estethician, she is going back to school to become a certified licensed oncologist esthetician to work with women and men who are dealing with the unique and intense challenges they face with cancer, "I want to work with them and take a holistic approach to dealing with cancer, their skin care, hair care, self-esteem and welcome them into our philosophy of "we care", our philosophy of beauty." When asked what beauty means to Tara Tarbell, she said, "It's about empowerment, it's how you are inside, it's how you speak to and of people, it's about being beautiful on the inside."

The Niawen Skin Care line is cruelty free, stability tested, dermatologist tested, ophthalmologist approved and ingredient efficacy approved and professional consumer approved. You will not find parabens, mineral oil, lanolin, propylene, toluene, talc, progesterone, bovine sourced ingredients, formaldehyde releasing preservatives, urea, diazolidinyl urea, DMDM hydantoin, or quaternium-15.
