Ariwiio Swamp (R) out of Controlled Chaos, and Christian Torres (L), were awarded Fight of the Night for their bout at SPIRIT FC 3. Swamp and Torres fought on Saturday for the Lightweight Title, but the fight ended in a draw.
After a nine year hiatus, Jerimiah Fountain took a title for CNY MMA on Saturday night.
On Saturday night, the St. Lawrence Centre Arena was the home of SPIRIT FC 4. Eleven fights were on the card including five title fights. Local fighters came out of CNY MMA in Hogansburg and Controlled Chaos in Westville. Many of their opponents came from Bridgeport, NY out of Kountry Boys MMA and some fighters were independent.
The band Playback entertained the crowd and Catfish Ben was the announcer.
The night started with some awards for SPIRIT FC 3 with Randy Lamb getting Nockout of the Night, and Ariwiio Swamp and Christian Torres getting Fight of the Night. Then the fighters entered the cage for a Saturday night of great MMA action with many locals taking wins and titles.
