TERRITORY OF AKWESASNE - Please be advised that all roadways under the jurisdiction of the Mohawk Council of Akwesasne will have a posted weight limit of five (5) tonnes per axle, effective Monday, April 7, 2014 through Monday, May 12, 2014. The Akwesasne Mohawk Police will be monitoring vehicle traffic and enforcing the weight restrictions while they remain in place.
