COMMUNITY TRUST DOCUMENT AVAILABLE FOR REVIEW

TERRITORY OF AKWESASNE – The Mohawk Council of Akwesasne’s Aboriginal Rights & Research Office (ARRO) is notifying the community that the Community Trust document is available for community review.  The Community Trust document governs the Community Trustees and sets the guidelines and expectations for clear accountability in establishing, and implementing, the Community Settlement Trust. 

 The Community Trust document has been posted to the MCA website, Akwesasne.ca. and is also available via email upon request.  Hard copies have been left in all three districts at the following MCA facilities: CIA III in Kawehno:ke, the Administration 1 building and Kanonhkwatsheri:io in Kana:takon, and at Iohahi:io Adult Education Center in Tsi Snaihne.
