Description of Position: Under the general direction of the ECDP Education Coordinator, the Teacher Aide/Bus Driver is responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of the children enrolled within the Head Start facility, school bus and on field trips and assisting in the classroom as deemed necessary.

Qualifications: A High School Diploma with a Commercial Driver’s License with six months experience driving a bus. Must be at least 21 years of age, have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract in accordance with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Fleet Policy. Candidate must successfully pass criminal background check, prior to employment beginning.

ELIGIBILTY LIST: A list of qualified candidates is created from interviews that may be used to appoint individuals to similar positions within the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe for a period of six months.
