Description of Position: Under the general direction of the Registered Dietitian, the Home Delivered Meal Carrier is responsible for packing, driving, and delivering meals to elderly clients in their place of residence, while using safe driving practices. The meal carrier must develop a relationship with clients enabling them to monitor any changes in the client’s physical or cognitive status. Must treat elderly clients with respect and maintain their dignity. This position also requires service monitoring of meals to ensure a high-quality nutrition service is maintained. Persons performing this position must be flexible and be able to learn different routes.

Qualifications: High School diploma or GED. Must be at least 21 years of age, have and maintain a valid driver’s license with a clean drivers abstract in accordance with the Saint Regis Mohawk Tribe’s Fleet Policy. Candidate must successfully pass criminal background check, prior to employment beginning.
