Jacob was a member of the Mohawk Assembly of God and enjoyed hunting, fishing, 4-wheeling, and playing video games. In addition, Bubz had a love for tattoos, pets – especially his beloved cats, Oreo and Snickers; but most of all he had a great passion for trains.

Jacob is also survived by his fiancé, Alyssa Laneuville of Massena; many aunts, uncles, and cousins especially, Dayton and Tony Thomas and Richard Stehlin – who were like brothers to him; and a very good buddy, Michael Fowler, currently serving in the US Navy.
He was predeceased by his maternal grandfather, Louis E. Stehlin on February 28, 1988 and his paternal grandfather, Raymond David Terrance on August 7, 1983.
Friends called at the Kateri Hall and his funeral service was held at the Mohawk Assembly of God on Monday, February 24, 2014 with Pastor Art Brandt, officiating. Burial will be in the spring in Mohawk Assembly of God Cemetery.
