Nathan A. J. Bigtree, 26, of Akwesasne, N.Y. was ticketed by Saint Regis Mohawk Tribal Police for inadequate headlights at 9:15 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16. He is to appear in Tribal Court on February 24.

Colin K. Miller, 64, of North Bangor was ticketed by Tribal Police for inadequate stop lamps and inadequate tail lights at 6:40 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 16. He is to appear in Tribal Court on March 10.

Ryan J. Prentice, 34, and Kary D. Prentice, 42, of Massena were arrested by Tribal Police and cited with one count each of disorderly conduct following an incident at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino at 2:49 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 16. Ryan Prentice is to appear in Bombay Town Court on March 4. Kary Prentice is to appear on March 11.

Louie King, 31, of Akwesasne, N.Y. was ticketed by Tribal Police for inadequate headlights at 8:44 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15. He is to appear in Tribal Court on March 3.

Chloe A. Diabo, 19, of Rooseveltown, N.Y. was arrested by Tribal Police and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation and insufficient tail lamps at 8:34 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15. She is to answer the charges in Bombay Town Court on March 11.

Noah M. Ransom IV, 17, of Hogansburg was ticketed by Tribal Police for inadequate stop lamps at 8:20 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15. He is to appear in Tribal Court on March 10.

Edward G. Kidder, 55, of Watertown was ticketed by Tribal Police for inadequate headlights at 6:29 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 15. He is to appear in Tribal Court on March 10.

Crystal T. Lazore, 36, of Hogansburg was arrested by Tribal Police and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, inadequate tail lamps and operation of a motor vehicle by unlicensed driver at 1:21 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15. She is to answer to the charges in Bombay Town Court on March 11.

Hunter R. Hayden, 18, of Massena was ticketed by Tribal Police for disobeying a traffic sign following a traffic stop at 12:08 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 15. He is to appear in Tribal Court on March 3.

Lisa M. Davis, 49, of Madrid was ticketed by Tribal Police for inadequate stop lamps at 10:29 p.m. Friday, Feb. 14. She is to appear in Tribal Court on March 3.

Cassie L. Burnett, 24, of Winthrop was ticketed by Tribal Police for inadequate tail lights at 9:16 p.m. Friday, February 14. She is to appear in Tribal Court on February 27.

Anthony C. McCumber, 24, of Kahnawake, Que. and charged with petit larceny following an incident at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino at 1 a.m. Friday, Feb. 14. He was arraigned in Bombay Town Court and remanded to the Franklin County Jail, Malone in lieu of $500 bail or $1,000 bond.

Colt R. Newton, 21, of Constable was arrested by Tribal Police and charged with  operation of a motor vehicle with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or more, driving while intoxicated, failure to use designated lane and inadequate headlights at 2:12 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 13. Police allege Newton’s blood alcohol content was 0.12 percent. He is to answer the charges in Bombay Town Court on March 11.

Luanne C. Johnson, 45, of Akwesasne, Que. was ticketed by Tribal Police for disobeying a traffic sign at 10:27 a.m. Sunday, Feb. 11. She is to appear in Tribal Court on March 3.

Abraham Johnson, 57, of Hogansburg, N.Y. was ticketed by Tribal Police for speeding at 7:57 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 11. Police said he was going 60 M.P.H. in a posted 45 M.P.H. zone. He is to appear in Tribal Court on February 24.

James A. Nieman, 42, of Raymondville was ticketed by Tribal Police for failure to keep right and failure to exercise due care to avoid colliding with emergency vehicle at 7:59 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10. He is to appear in Bombay Town Court on March 4.

Matthew J. Marko, 42, of Syracuse was ticketed by Tribal Police for driver’s view obstructed at 9:57 p.m. Monday, Feb. 10. He is to appear in Tribal Court on March 3.

AMPS RELEASE 

On February 16, 2014 the Akwesasne Mohawk Police responded to a call of an intoxicated male attempting to get into a van at a Kawehnoke residence. The female caller stated that she opened the door and helped the male person into her residence because of the frigid temperatures. During observation, it appeared that the male may be suffering from frost bite because of the discoloring of his hands. The male subject was identifying himself to the home owner and that his identity was given to police as he was removed from the residence and charged for trespass by night, released on promise to appear in court at a later date.

On February 16, 2014 the Akwesasne Mohawk Police received a call from a 49 year old female reporting that she was assaulted by a 30 year old male. The incident occurred at a residence where alcohol was being consumed and the female was provided a ride home. Shortly thereafter police received additional calls that the female complainant was causing a disturbance at the residence where the alleged assault took place and the police investigation is continuing into the incident.
