Theodore Thomas Porter

Theodore Thomas Porter, age 36, entered into the spirit world on December 10, 2013 from a fatal car accident in Houston, Texas. "Teddy" was born February 10th, 1977, the cherished son of Lorraine Oakes and Theodore D. Porter (Jamie}. Beloved husband of Alice Porter. Loving father of Theodore II, Isabella, Titan and Princess Gabrielle. Cherished brother of Danielle Oakes, Joelle Porter and Natalie White. Teddy was predeceased by one brother, Joseph Roy Porter on September 28, 1995. Also predeceased by his maternal grandparents Isabelle and John Oakes and his paternal grandparents, Josephine Chubb and Robert Porter. He is survived by his godparents Walter Oakes and Candice Thomas.

"Teddy" attended primary school at the St Regis Mohawk School in Hogansburg, and attended high school at Salmon River Central School. In later years he traveled with his father learning the trade of Ironwork. On January 3rd, 2014, myself, Danielle, Chazz and Carter traveled to Houston, Texas and viewed and attended services for Teddy at Carnes Funeral Home. It was a very long journey and a mother would go to any lengths to get to her son and bring him home. Arrangements were made and Teddy has returned home to rest. I would like to invite everyone to celebrate my son Teddy during a funeral mass on Friday, January 24th at 12:00 at the St. Regis Catholic Church. His remains will be put to rest with his brother Joseph and nephew Jazz during springtime.
