ADDICTIONS / MENTAL HEALTH WORKER

Pay Level: HSW 11 - $34,004.04- $35,364.20

Summary of Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of the coordinator, the incumbent is responsible for the development and delivery of various primary prevention and community support services.

Qualifications:

University Degree or College diploma in Social Work or related discipline with 3 years work experience in a community support and development capacity;

Incumbent must have experience in working with children and families in promoting the delivery and prevention and community support services. Must have an understanding of child development and family dynamics. Knowledge of community resources related to the needs of children and families. Extensive knowledge of internal and external services and knowledge of the Mohawk language and traditional approaches to helping will be considered an asset.
