Kicking Off the Holidays at SRMS

The Salmon River Central Middle School Band, under the direction of Cindy Healy, travelled to the St. Regis Mohawk School before holiday break and performed songs for students and staff. About 85 band members performed. They played "All I Want for Christmas is My Two Front Teeth," "Creatures in the Attic," "Coventry Carol" and "Countdown to Christmas." St. Regis Mohawk students and staff very much enjoyed the concert.

After the songs, Santa himself made a surprise appearance, and staff of SRMS sang a special version of "Santa Claus is Coming to Town." The celebration was a great way to kick off the holidays for the kids.
