On December 31, 2013 the Akwesasne Mohawk Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle entering Tsi Snaihne with Georgia plates. Police investigation revealed that the male operator of the vehicle was operating the vehicle with no driver’s license and had an outstanding warrant by the RCMP. The 42 year old male subject, identified as Gregory Roberson of 28 Rooseveltown Road, Hogansburg, New York, was placed under arrest, conveyed to the RCMP in Cornwall and was also charged by the Akwesasne Mohawk Police for operation of a motor vehicle no driver license.
On December 31, 2013 the Akwesasne Mohawk Police conducted a traffic stop in Tsi Snaihne after a vehicle nearly hit the Police vehicle head on. The operator of the vehicle exited the vehicle and attempted to enter a residence ignoring the police officer’s demands. Police arrested the male driver who showed signs of being highly intoxicated and while at the police station refused to provide samples of breath during the demand. He was further charged with Fail/Refuse Breathalyzer, processed and released to appear in court at a later date.
