Akwesasne Death Benefits Offers New Date to Apply

Organizers of the Akwesasne Death Benefits are offering several places in Akwesasne on January 8, 2014 to register. The purpose of the Death Benefits is to assist surviving families of those who have had someone pass away with $1,500.00 to the surviving family. Payments are made on a month basis of $10.00 per month, per person. If you are interested in registering for Akwesasne Death benefits, you can do so at the following places on January 8, 2014 from 9am to 5pm.

Kawehnoke Recreation Center

St. Regis; in the residence of Joanne Jackson and Shirley Jacobs

In Hogansburg; in the residence of Joe Herne, Pete Terrance, and Jack Tarbell.

In Tsi Snaihne; in the residence of Curly Philips, Emmy Mitchell, William “Shack” Phillips, and Karen Tarbell.
